Underground Places
- The Perforating Mexicans
ALSO OF INTEREST . . .
According to Wikipedia, the Mexican Perforation "is a French artistic movement that seeks to express their ideas in underground places." Evidence of the existance of the Perforating Mexicans (La Mexicaine de la Perforation)—a secret society of "cataphiles"—was first discovered in 2004 when police happened upon a cinema/restaurant deep in an uncharted part of the Parisian catacombs. The underground movie theater featured a screen, a stocked bar, and a pressure cooker for making couscous. Electricity and telephone lines had been professionally installed. When authorities later returned to the site, all they found was a note that read, "Do not try to find us."
